Boeing Profits from CIA Secret Prisons

Boeing aids and abets war crimes. A story in the Seattle Weekly shows that Boeing worked with the CIA in moving prisoners to and among the network of secret prisons in Europe.

From the story:
[A] wholly owned Boeing subsidiary called Jeppesen Inc. cleared the airways and runways for the CIA, providing landing and navigation assistance, scheduling flight crews, and booking hotels for them. Jeppesen is a unit of Boeing's Seattle-based Commercial Aviation Division.

Assholes.

Not to mention the contract they just won to help Homeland Security patrol the Mexican border.

Oh yeah, and the Stealth Bomber.

Didn't know about the border patrol thing. Sheesh.

The stealth bomber, well, it seems a little more par for the course. I did sell my Boeing stock immediately after I got the annual report for the first time. It was chock 'o block full of weapons systems—missiles, avionics, military craft. I was so naïve.

On the other hand, would you rather fly in a DC10 or a 747?
